SPAGHETTI POMODORO RECIPE

INGREDIENTS:

  • 4 medium tomatoes diced
  • 4 basil leaves roughly chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic finely diced
  • 500g spaghetti|
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. In a medium pot, bring 5L water and 40g salt to the boil.
  2. Add the fresh pasta and cook for 3 minutes, stirring regularly .
  3. In a medium pan add olive oil & garlic and sweat for 1 minute on low.
  4. Add diced tomato, salt, basil and sauté until tomatoes soften and become a sauce.
  5. Remove pasta from the water, add to the sauce and stir.
  6. Taste for seasoning & serve.
